Well-attended by the public – who were clearly keen to interact, ask questions and discover new things – the 2022 edition of SICAM was a real success.
We at NA knew that something like this could happen, so we worked hard during an entire year to roll out more new developments than ever.
Fashioned by the designer Carlos Tiscar, his two collections of zamak handles – Oblong and Oval – were among the designs creating the most buzz. Their versatility means that they are all-purpose handles that can bring aesthetics and usefulness to any type of furniture, which they will, without a doubt, enhance.
NA also presented Manolo Durán's designs like its attractive Valo design, an ABS recessed handle that was designed ad hoc for one of our exclusive customers and made its public debut at this event and Tana, an original minimalist knob concept attached to the furniture on one of its ends, also came from this studio.
NA’s design team presented its new creations, such as its Zino handle and its Botone knob, featuring clean, pleasant and very functional designs.
Its Veteo collection has also grown with an unobtrusive knob that completes the collection.
The Coplo aluminium profile, closed with zamak ends, allows it to be recessed into the furniture with a bold and current aesthetic, but one also perfect for use on wardrobe doors.
Following along the same line as Coplo, but with a totally different aesthetic, the Lleco handle profile is 60mm high, which gives it incredible character and presence.
From this same Lleco collection, we presented the gripless profile that can’t be used to open door. So, what is it for? In a flash of imagination, NA’s design team created a profile whose aesthetic function enhances the sides of lift storage beds, while allowing the tops to be lifted, allowing them to rise over the aluminium. An original way to bring aesthetics and user-friendliness to one of the stars of the world of rest: lift storage beds with internal storage space.
And that’s not all! We’ve continued to expand our structural profile collections with two new collections.
On the one hand, the Bluco Collection allows you to incorporate – at a modest cost – glass panels to your furniture or to the manufacture of wardrobes. Prepared for 4mm-thick glass, we saw a wardrobe built with this new collection at our SICAM stand.
On the other hand, Atmos is a ground-breaking collection for framing 16mm wooden boards and elevating the design of doors and drawers to another level. Framing them in a straight aluminium frame that protects and frames the board, its design gives a depth of more than 20mm to the panel, thanks to its profile design. A risky bet today, but one that will very soon be trending has been designed exclusively for one of our customers.
Exhausted from so many new developments? No worries. You know that our commercial team is here to help you, advise you and expand on all this information.
If you think some of our offerings can help you or be of use, we’re here.
