You may already be using them without knowing it.
As China is “forgetting” about climate change, it now announces the largest number of new coal-fired plants in many years. Last year, the world’s second largest economy expanded the sector’s capacity with new permits that will mean another 106 gigawatts of energy. This amount is equivalent to the production of two large coal-fired plants per week, says the Centre for Energy and Clean Air Research (CREA) and the Global Energy Monitor (GEM).
This could mean a significant increase in CO2 emissions, and China’s global climate effort and commitments could be undermined.
If you look into the origin of the handles that some Spanish, Italian and Danish companies provide, you might be surprised to find that, indeed, despite your efforts to reduce your environmental impact in your company, the handles that you are supplied are produced by energy from burning coal and thus contribute to climate change (and I can assure you that the energy needed to produce the handles is a lot).
You probably already know that we produce 100% of our products in our own factory in southeast Spain, powered 100% by solar energy, with respect for the environment and the health and well-being of our employees.
I think you recall that we are global pioneers in the use of chromium +3, the only chromium plating that is harmless to nature, and for which more than 60% of the energy needed for our manufacturing comes from our own PV plant.
What you don’t know is that Navarro Azorín has been endorsed by Spain’s Ministry for the Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge as one of the Spanish companies that began its path in 2021 to officially committing to reducing its CO2 emissions into the atmosphere.
Lastly, I think you also know that our handles are good-looking — they complement your furniture perfectly — and that our human team is here to treat you as you deserve. So, I do think you are now very well informed.
Warm wishes
